“Not all those who wander are lost.”
I think people forget that sometimes. Just because someone’s path doesn’t look familiar to you doesn’t mean they don’t know where they’re going.
I can’t stand when people go out of their way to bother someone who is minding their business, simply because they don’t understand them. They label them, question their choices, and try to coerce them off their path just because their way of living looks different.
Meanwhile, people who are genuinely lost are often ignored. People will watch them struggle, watch them go in circles, and say nothing. But when someone chooses a different path and seems comfortable walking it, suddenly everyone has something to say.
Not everyone who wanders is lost. Some people are simply taking a path you’ve never seen before.
You don’t have to understand someone’s journey to respect it. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let people be.
