Hurt People Don’t Hurt People

Hurt people don't automatically hurt others. I'm tired of that excuse. We all have a choice in how we respond to pain. Now, I'm not ignoring that some people may feel too overwhelmed to heal or lack the tools-but even then, seeking help is a choice. Whether through therapy, support, or spiritual growth, we can choose the path of healing. I've been hurt, too, and I'm not claiming I was always perfect-but when I hurt others, it wasn't simply because I was in pain; it was because I needed to mature. It's about character development, self-awareness, and accountability.
Even if someone doesn't fully grasp the impact of their actions, deep down, they know harm is possible. Choosing to hurt others—whether from ignorance or malice-is still a choice.
